The Student and Family Support Office is an HWDSB team that helps families work through questions or concerns about their child’s education, especially when a situation is complex or requires attention beyond the school.
 
If you are not sure where to start, please read through our step-by-step guide below! 
 
 

Step 1: Where to Start

If your question or concern relates to your child’s learning or school experience, and you have not yet spoken with their teacher or principal, we encourage you to connect with them first before reaching out to the Student and Family Support Office.
 
If at this point your concern is not resolved, please reach out to your respective Superintendent or Trustee. That information can be found here:

Step 2: Escalating the Concern

If your concerns haven't been addressed through the school or if you don't believe this is the appropriate route, please contact the Student and Family Support Office.
